The study examined the information seeking behaviour of undergraduate students of departments in Delta State University, Abraka. The main objective was to find out the reasons why undergraduate students in Delta State University search for information. The study leveraged on Ellis’ Information Seeking Model of 1989 as well as the Technology Acceptance Model propounded by Davis in 1989. The population of the study comprised undergraduate students from three departments, namely Business Administration (385), Business Education (600), and Mass\r\nCommunication (500), giving a total population of 1,485, from which a sample of three hundred and fifteen (315) respondents was randomly selected using Taro Yamane's formula. Descriptive statistics and chi-square inferential analysis were used to analyse the data. The findings of this study showed that although the internet was the most frequently used source of information, students rely more on the library as their most trusted source of information, a difference confirmed to be statistically significant. It was also revealed that the students' major challenge in accessing information was that they lack basic skills in library usage. Arising from these findings, the study recommends that university management should design structured programmes to acquaint students with effective library use, that libraries should provide modern information-search facilities tomeet students' information needs, and that lecturers should guide students on the rules governing the search, retrieval, and verification of informationfrom the internet.
